BlogScissor Blind Duck Boat - Just finished my diy scissor blind today. I used 3/4 emt, 1 square aluminum tubing for cross members, ss bolts, and new burlap/camo netting. Got a great scissor blind built up out of 3/4 emt & bimini fittings for about $100, ended up just pop riveting nylon straps for support, worked great, plenty strong. I'm just headed out to get my boat and start my blind. I'm trying to make something similar and am not sure exactly how tall to make the blind.
